I’ve always been fascinated by the colors and complex shapes of flowers. In 2013, I began photographing flowers on a black background illuminated by flash. Then I read an article by the photographer Harold Davis about shooting flowers on a light box. Inspired by the images in the article, I built a light box and started photographing flowers on it.
